Can you dance?

Miss Autumn has been in a dance class the past 4 months.  She loves it.  It is only once a week and this isn't enough for her.  She is so animated as it is that this is a perfect fit for her.  A couple of weeks ago she had her Winter Recital.  I wasn't sure if she would perform.  Every time we asked her to show us part of her dance she would get embarrassed.

(all dolled up ready to go)

For the recital she had instructions on how to do her hair, color of tights, shoes, make-up, and time to be there.  She did like getting all dolled up.  We had to curl her hair.  Talk about time, this took forever (her words), but she looked so cute.  She thought it was pretty neat that she got to wear some blush and lipstick.

(her really good friends Whitley, Brooke, and Autumn)
When we got there she was a bit nervous.  Once the others in her class all arrived she was very comfortable.  The class did their dance 2 times and I was surprised how into it Autumn was.  She did great!  Didn't even show one bit of shyness.  Her only complaint for the evening was that she didn't get any flowers after the show.  Every parent brought flowers for their girls after they performed.  It was a 15 minute show.

So much Fun! Dorothy would agree w/ Autumn: 1 day isn't enough dance time. She too loves her class. There seems to be a few ballerinas in the family and more in the making. W/ all the little girl cousins we could start a dance group. :)
