oh my, look who's 5

Logan turned 5 on Tuesday. He had been counting down since Autumn's birthday. He decided he wanted a Scooby Doo pirates Ahoy party. Talk about pressure. He has loved Scooby Doo since he was 2 1/2 thanks to uncle Kevin. I pulled the party together in week and it turned out great! Everyone loved it especially Logan. Thanks to Chad and Betty for helping.
The birthday boy!

We made him a Scooby crown to wear to school, with his Scooby shirt and Scooby socks. We had the party right after school. The kids had to solve the mystery and find all the presents they brought for Logan. The birthday pirate took them. They had 3 activities to do and the last led them to the pirate ship where they found the birthday pirate. I borrowed this cool pirate costume from a friend and Chad dressed up in it. It was funny to hear the kids all say, its only Logan's Dad. They all loved solving the mystery and the moms told Chad it was one of the best parties they had been too. The kids didn't get bored, it was just the right length, and it was different.

Logan had a ball. Although he did want me to inform all his aunts and uncles of something. He is big into being recognized. He wanted to know why he only heard from Aunt Laurie and family, Uncle Jody and family, and Uncle Brian. He thought everyone should have done something for him. I guess thats a 5 year old for you.

Dang Freezer, I don't think Chadillac has ever looked more manly. He should star in the next Pirates of the Carribean. He'll probably need to get bad teeth though.
